Finger Lakes Strings is based in Ithaca, New York, home of Cornell University. Members are active music educators and performers.
As an ensemble, Finger Lakes Strings has been a featured performer in programs such as the Finger Lakes Bach Festival, the Rockwell and Arnot Museums Chamber Music Series, Wagner and Four Chimneys Summer Music Series, CEMA Musician's Choice Chamber Music Subscriptions and the Guanajuato Music Festival.
Individually, members have performed on the national and international stage with positions in the Mexico City Philharmonic, National Symphony;Mexico, Houston Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Houston Ballet Orchestra, Philharmonique du Tournon;France, Orquestra do Norte do Portugal, Orquestra de Camara de Bellas Artes;Mexico.
As featured soloists members have performed with the Flint Symphony;Michigan, Orquestra de Camara de Bellas Artes;Mexico, Orquestra do Norte do Portugal, Guanajuato Symphony;Mexico, Orchestra of the Southern Finger Lakes and the Philharmonique du Tournon;France.
